Rising to the challenge of a 4 week lead time from client consultation, the design of a creative environment, 3D content production, to final build and delivery of a 3 day leadership event at Twickenham Stadium
The Barclaycard Leadership Team required an inspiring, innovative, yet informal environment to thoroughly immerse themselves in business planning. The aura of the Twickenham venue, imbued with the spirit of rugby, evoked an anticipation of expected greatness.
A truly experiential event
Our design solution focused attention on the presenters’ central podium from which 4 raised platforms extended out creating a forum for audience participation through discussion and debate.
The tall ceiling height was put to good use accommodating a large projection screen flanked by draping and complemented by 2 smaller side screens. For flexibility of messaging and supplementary content display, additional information screens adorned the 4 pillars of the set. Creative lighting enhanced the immaculate, pristine finish.
Innovative use of technology
The fully immersive delegate experience involved the production of a 3D stereoscopic video, projected at high definition on the large main screen to transport the audience along a rollercoaster ride of recent business accomplishments.
A lectern-mounted camera enabled live demos of the latest hand-held technology to be displayed around the room for all to see.
Live feedback
Breaking with the norm, mobile phone usage was positively encouraged with delegates feeding back to a Twitter feed for live updates. During presentations these were projected onto the 4 pillars.
On-site video editing
The installation of a video booth within one of the chill out areas proved ideal for capturing comments fresh from the mouths of inspired delegates. Supplemented with a cameraman for the second day’s sound bites, the source material was expertly cut together by our on-site video editor to create 2 rousing films, a fitting end to the final day’s session.
